The work was written for the famous Dutch bass clarinettist Henri Bok. It consists of six movements merging into one another, offering the player all possibilities to present the wide tonal range of this still unusual instrument. As a special service, the solo part is available in ossia variants for the German and French fingering systems. Instrumentation : bass clarinet in Bb and orchestra op. 33
