This is the edict given to the human race when, on an ordinary summer day, a mysterious and omnipotent force arrives to claim the planet. Thus begins the largest and last human migration - to the most extreme environment on Earth. But their goal is not merely to survive the present. As they face sub-zero temperatures, six months of darkness a year and scant resources, they must confront an urgent challenge : can they change and evolve rapidly enough to ensure humanity's future ?
