A. Giumlia-Mair is an archaeologist, archaeometallurgist and has been working for many years on materials from Mediterranean islands. F. Lo Schiavo is is the former Archaeological Superintendant of Sardinia, where she has been working on metals and related topics for most of her career. She has also been Superintendent of Tuscany and Friuli-Venezia Giulia and researcher at CNR-ICEVO Rome.
