Résumé
In this book, simulation of planar near-field/far-field (NF/FF) antenna measurement is done using MATLAB. A faster technique is used to speed the determination of the far-field radiation pattern. The basic theory of near field antenna measurements is reviewed. A program has been written in MATLAB which has a user friendly interface. Details of the NF/FF transformation using Fourier transform are presented.
Far-field radiation patterns calculated from near-field measurements have been compared with the exact equations of the far-field, and reasonably accurate results are observed for a number of antennas.
