Scott Thornbury teaches, trains and writes in Barcelona, where he works for International House. As well as in Spain, he has taught and trained in Egypt, the UK and in his native New Zealand. He has twice won the International House Ben Warren prize. He has written several methodology books as well as numerous articles. His present interests include: discourse analysis, classroom interaction, second language acquisition, critical pedagogy and the relationship between all four.
