Résumé

The seminar "Agricultural Policy Analysis" was organized to discuss with scientists, policy-makers and development experts the results of the research work conducted in Cameroon. The work was based on a research project carried out jointly by the University of Hohenheim (Germany), INRA-Montpellier and CIRAD (France), and the University of Dschang (Cameroon). This proceedings volume discusses the general issue of agricultural policy evaluation and methodological questions of policy analysis.
It shows what impact price policy and changing price relationships have on the production of export, i.e. coffee, cocoa and cotton, as well as food crops produced within the same farming system. It also highlights how price policy affects inter- and intra-household income distribution.
