Résumé

The 24 Jazz Preludes were markedly influenced by Chopin. At the same time, Kapustin added numerous varied jazz elements. The exuberant creativity displayed by Kapustin here has contributed to the great popularity of the pieces, which also shows in the large number of recordings. Instrumentation : piano op. 53
