The Stars of the Earth juxtaposes goodness, honesty, loyalty and empathy with the tyranny, injustice, and selfishness that currently seems to dominate in Bangladesh. It tells the story of a boy who, impressed with a poem by an older classmate, invites him home to entertain his father. The young poet recites a stunning poem about Bangladesh and the host's father responds with interesting morality tale of his own.
Their stories end with a series of poems about the current state of humanity in Bangladesh.
