This book provides the reader with sufficient knowledge of electron transport to be able to invest further in the field of spintronics. To this end, some of the main key notions widely used in the field have been carefully selected, with the aim of providing a simple, concise and effective framework. These selected notions are explained using simple examples and analytical calculations. Common terms and specialist jargon are clearly explained, and the way subtleties complicate the phenomena, without altering their physical basis, is addressed.
