Résumé

Ocean acidification, described as "the other CO2 problem, is still considerably unknown. In this book, the authors answer ten key questions on the biogeochemical basis of acidification, on past, current and future trends, on the impact on marine organisms and humans, and finally on remediation measures.
Fabrice Pernet is a research scientist at Werner in Brest, specialising in the ecophysiology of marine organisms. Passionate about living things, his work focuses on the effects of global change on marine organisms and aquaculture. Beyond his research, Fabrice is dedicated to public outreach, actively engaging in raising awareness about ocean and climate issues to inspire action and understanding.
Frederic Gazeau is a research scientist at CNRS and director of the Villefranche oceanography laboratory. Expert in biogeochemistry, he is interested in the effects of ocean acidification and warming on calcifying organisms, and is working on developing methods to study the impact of these factors on marine ecosystems.
