Résumé
The logical multimedia modelling requires integration of heterogeneous attributes (alphanumerical and representations). This integration presents a lot of advantages to improve the semantics level, but few models are based on this paradigm. Indeed, nor the multidimensional model, nor the heterogeneous federated environnements enable the management of heterogeneous interlacing treatings. We present an approach based on the generalization of a closure technique, in the context of a coupling architecture.
The closure is based on an intermediate space, built from several concepts that can be calculated from the structure of the representation. To test this technique, we propose some examples on several toy database problems. In the spatial case first, we expose a power expression extension for spatial representations dealing with composite regions and regions with holes. In the graphical case then, we achieve an original contribution by proposing the closure at this level of data.
At last, we propose some examples of integration in the multimedia coherency management.
