"Jurassic Park" fait parti de ces films qui ont bercé mon enfance, et pour cause, il rassemblait un coté amusant et effayant à la fois. Quelle surprise quand j'appris, il y a quelques années, que ce film n'était qu'une adaptation. Il s'en suivit une envie folle de le lire, de le dévorer tout autant que j'ai dévoré le film.
Me voilà donc parti pour une lecture courte. En effet, ce livre se dévore vraiment aussi facilement que les personnages se faisant dévoré par ces terribles oiseaux prédateurs venu d'une autre époque. Je ne connais pas l'auteur, sa vie, ses études, mais à ce
que j'ai pu en lire, ce devait être un passionné de sciences car il faut bien le dire, on ne ressort pas de ce livre sans connaissances. Certains éléments sont décris de façon pédagogique à la différence du film qui reste de l'ordre du divertissement.
Ce livre n'en est pas moins passionnant, l'horreur est toujours présente et même beaucoup plus terrifiante que dans le film. Les personnages sont tous attachant mis à part Hammond que j'appréciais dans mon enfance et que je déteste maintenant. Le fantastique est bien sur mis dans un contexte tellement réel qu'on se laisse avoir par cette théorie pourtant irréalisable.
Pour résumé, lisez la première page et si vous réussissez à vous arrêter, je vous tire mon chapeau car moi, je n'ai pas pu m'arrêter avant la fin et pire encore, je suis maintenant plongé dans la lecture de la suite "Le Monde Perdu".
Au pays des dinosaures
Vous ne connaissez pas Jurassic Park, le célèbre film du non moins célèbre Spielberg ? Voilà une bonne raison de vous plonger dans le livre qui a inspiré le film. Michael Crichton nous livre un surprenant récit d'aventure, mêlant science et philosophie dans un style étonnement fluide.
Ou si comme moi vous avez adoré le film, ce livre vous offrira un super complément sur certaines thématiques (la théorie du chaos par exemple) ainsi qu'une vision très différente du caractère des personnages.
Je pensais tout connaître de Jurassic Park, et j'ai pourtant replongé dans son univers avec un immense plaisir !
