In Zoo Signs in a Storm, Mia, Jake, and their animal friends Mr. Whiskers and Tilly help fix a mix-up at the zoo after a windy, rainy storm knocks down all the animal signs. They find monkeys where the flamingos should be, a penguin by the fish fountain, and misplaced signs everywhere. Working together, they gently guide each animal back to its proper home and rehang the signs with care. By the time the sun comes out, the zoo is peaceful and orderly again, and the children leave with a warm feeling of having helped both the animals and the zookeeper.
