When you act on God's plan, you are acting out of love, out of concern, out of compassion. You are putting the throbbing heartbeat of the Father into action. His heart beats for people-lost, hurting, sighing, dying humanity-people who are far away from Him. You are the key to bringing them home. You are the extension of the heart of the Father. Make contact. Touch. Extend your hand, your voice, your goods.
Touching communicates "You matter to me!" Jesus touched people and they were changed. They were healed. They were freed. They left His presence different than when they came. You, too, are called to touch humanity, to inspire hope, and to bring change. The world is the place you live and the people you see. It's the man at the Cenex gas station, the woman who cuts your hair, your insurance agent, your boss, even your spouse.
The world is the nations and the isles of the sea. It's people of every tribe, nation, and language-people who need to feel the palpitations of the heart of Lord and the warmth of His embrace. You are uniquely created and commissioned by God to touch your world, and to leave it different than it was before.
