When shy Samantha snags the attention of the star quarterback, she only feels guilt. Being a high school senior has its perks. But being sick is not one of them. She has known Phillip almost her entire life. Having grown up across the street from him since they were six, his sister became her best friend, keeping him on the sidelines. Phillip may be under the stadium lights, but all his focus is on her.
Samantha isn't sure if her illness will let her be normal enough to be anyone's girlfriend, let alone see graduation. Knowing her future is uncertain at best, she must fight to get well all while falling for her high school sweetheart. Yearbook is a poignant story, which explores the typical and not-so-typical ups and downs of high school life while living in both thrilling and tragic circumstances.
