Al Ridgeway's childhood is buried in fantastical mystery.  Raised by the wonderful couple who found her on the side of the road when she was in her early teens, she has no knowledge of who her true parents are or where they might be.  Al confronts her unknown childhood in daydreams and nightmares, fighting to live the life she calls her own.  When a wedding plan turns upside-down, Al and her best friend, Becca, take a reviving three-month lake getaway.
