1969, small town girl Faith leaves behind her family and friends, and heads to the city. She takes a job at a nightclub called the Angel, a place where the wealthy mingle with shady characters. Her heart is torn between the singer in a band playing at the nightclub, and Joe, the boy back home. A death firms Faith's resolve to help bring the Angel's criminals to justice.
