Résumé
Most of us have jobs, and we may have one until we turn 65. This fact doesn't mean we can't leverage our jobs to build the retirement of our dreams. If you hope that your 401K will last you until the end of life, you may be in for a rude awakening. While we have a job, we must do things to sustain our lifestyle without a job. First, we must stop spending on "stuff." With all of that excess cash flow, we need to fund our investment portfolio.
Finally, we need to use our time to build an income stream that will feed us income for the rest of our lives. We should prepare ourselves for life to be tough, and only the strong survive with income. Now is the time to decide if you want to be "employed rich" or "passive rich." I know which one I would choose.
