Résumé

Many parents around the world have irrevocably ruined their lives and those of others by their religious behavior, such as my biological parents. Like other believers, they were also bad people or perhaps even worse. They were devout Catholics who in the early morning in the Surinamese city center under the shelter of a cinema (Paarl, opened in 1957 in Wanicastraat) abandoned their firstborn son because according to their religion a seven-month-old baby is a devil child.
Even the church didn't want me, they were afraid there too. So my parents decided to get rid of their devil child as soon as possible as if they were terrified that Satan would hang them on his fiery three-pointed fork and roast them for consumption. I was an innocent baby and could not defend myself against the barbaric belief of my insane biological parents. At the time, it was a general rule in the Surinamese community that premature babies were beheaded and mummified shortly after their birth for obia purposes by Surinam witch doctors, or were simply left somewhere to die.
This is probably still happening today because of ingrained superstitions, and Surinamese are generally more religious than the pope.
