Résumé

Layla Becker, the meteorologist for a local news station, sees visions whenever the north wind blows. Her visions lead her to a fire at the haunted mansion in Popsville, TX. There she meets firefighter Jake Weston, a man who believes only in what he can see and feel. Layla and her friends trace the fire to a man who lived in the mansion more than a century before. Jake Weston feels himself being drawn into the investigation of a ghost in the house next door to his own.
He doesn't believe in the ghost, but he firmly believes in the beautiful Layla, and goes along with the others as he starts to believe himself. Layla and Jake are constantly thrown together as they learn all they can about the house and its former inhabitants, but after the ghost is banished, will they still have anything in common? Or will they drift apart?
