Résumé

The third book in the Darkness and Light series, Where There Was Darkness begins where Dark Night of the Soul ends. Waking up from his nightmare, Marcus finds he is not what Gregor made him, but neither is he what he was born to be.  Having kept his promise to keep Gregor from taking another and having no education or skills; he believes he has nothing to offer the people he loves. Marcus, prepared to take his last breathe, is prevented from doing so by Chief Daniels, who helps show him that there are reasons to live.  Gregor, though no longer among the living, seems to walk beside and live within him,  and Marcus is afraid of the monster he may not be able to control.  With Chief Daniels help, he finds a way to use his skills to carve out a path he is proud to walk.
I was raised in Cumberland, Rhode Island. I presently live in Exeter with my husband of forty-five years and my eight year old fur baby. In 1996, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. While awaiting surgery I occupied myself with thoughts of what meaning there was to life, what value does one life have. During my recovery I wrote Dark Night of the Soul, hoping I answered the questions haunting me. I have since written seven books completing the Darkness and Light series and the Sister World Trilogy.
Dark Night Of The Soul was a finalist in the American Legacy Awards, Sister World The Arrival received a 5-star review from Readers Views and the last book in the Sister World Trilogy, Return To Terah received second place best science fiction published in 2024 by Bookfest. You can check out my books and other writings at:
