Résumé

Where Love Shines On is a collection of nine romantic short stories and six poems by five authors. These works explore love and romance between queer characters across a variety of genres, from fantasy to contemporary, to science fiction. This anthology hosts Alice Little's debut work, "Stumbling Into Love." This is the compelling story of Mara, who unwittingly finds herself on an unexpected journey of love and self-discovery.
Through a series of fateful encounters and tender moments, Mara's life becomes irrevocably intertwined with her twin flame, Max, and Cait, a fiercely independent spirit nursing a broken ankle and a complex past. As Mara's world becomes consumed by her burgeoning feelings and the responsibilities of care, she learns that love is both a sanctuary and a storm. Where Love Shines On is also proud to present Lee Holt's debut short story, "The Edge of the Rainbow, " a tale of self-discovery and a validation of the beauty of ace romance that ties in themes of friendship, self-respect, and the favored magical girl troupe.
Romance author Ty Jacobo is new to VeryGood Collab Books, but she is not new to anthologies. In what may be her most compelling narrative yet, Jacobo explores the versatility of neopronouns in "The Eternal Court: A Princess' Curse." Princess Celina is over one hundred years old - except that's not exactly true. Seemingly doomed to live, die, and start over again, she embarks once more on a mission to stop Prince Pyke's evil plan.
She vows to herself that this time will be different, and she's never been more right. Somewhere far beyond the reaches of Celina's centurion memory, a certain Reigning Royal vows to save the life of eir one true love, no matter the cost. Can ey lift the curse before it's too late? Or will Celina be lost forever, driven mad by the endless cycles of death and revival? VeryGood Collab Books returning author Zak Lettercast offers xyr trademark science fiction with a side of poetry.
Lettercast's first professional foray into the realm of romance takes place on a spaceship with a name Lettercastians may recognize: Vorena. This bisexual polyamorous romance occurs in the earliest days of the seed ship's journey, between a trio of scientists on a mission to unravel the mysteries of an alien message that might hold the key to humanity's future. Lettercast's "Gravity to the Power of Three" touches on such topics as grief, aging, chronic illness, and new relationships.
Lettercast has also contributed six poems to this anthology. Braden Hughes, another returning VeryGood Collab Books author, is retired from the adult industry, but he still shares his passion for passion with fans by publishing erotic flash fiction in anthologies like this one. Where Love Shines On proudly features five of his steamiest stories. Where Love Shines On provides ratings, content warnings, and tags for each entry.
