Résumé
Florence Acridge has been obsessed with getting into the writing program ever since she heard about it her freshman year. The writing program that could potentially win her a book deal and fulfill her dream of becoming a famous author. Her parents and best friend, Elliot, want the old Florence back who used to hang out with them and do hobbies other than writing. Now it's the summer before her senior year and Florence has finally made it into the writing program.
So, when Elliot proposes a list of activities to do over the summer, she is less than thrilled. When she goes to the writing program and meets Olivia Banks, a talented writer who represents everything Florence used to be, they decide to do everything on Elliot's list. The three of them experience an unforgettable summer and with Olivia's help, Florence soon discovers what she has been missing out on by just focusing on her writing.
But with the pressure that comes from the writing program and the book deal drawing near, will Olivia be able to teach Florence how to live before she destroys the relationships around her?
