Résumé

When God Made Me is a joyful, faith-filled children's book that celebrates the beauty, worth, and uniqueness placed inside every child by God. Through gentle words and vibrant illustrations, young readers follow a little girl who discovers that she was made with love, purpose, and intention. As she looks in the mirror and smiles at who she is becoming, children are reminded that they too are wonderfully created-inside and out.
Perfect for bedtime reading, children's ministry, or moments of affirmation at home, When God Made Me encourages kids to embrace their identity, build confidence, and see themselves through God's eyes. This uplifting story is a heartwarming reminder that every child is a masterpiece, cherished and designed with greatness in mind.
About the AuthorDe'Lishia Glass is a retired military veteran, born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, and a proud mother of three beautiful children. With secondary studies in Early Childhood Development, Human Services, and Special Education, she has spent over 20 years serving children through ministry and education-as an instructor, program leader, substitute teacher, children's pastor, nanny, babysitter, and chaperone.
Her passion is to create empowering, accessible, and affordable literacy for families around the world. Inspired by her daughter, De'Lishia wrote When God Made Me to help children embrace their identity and see the beauty God placed within them. She is also the author of Super Kid Saves the Day, Omari & the Wonder Whale, My Mommy and Me, Diamond: The Dog Who Almost Ruined Christmas, and Called To Be.
De'Lishia hopes to encourage young readers everywhere to fall in love with reading and to never be afraid to share their stories-because their voice may be the key to freeing someone else.
