Résumé

Miri and Tomi have been joyously reunited. Arrived in Slot Minear, Tanial triumphs over Lord Vang, she determines her response to Vang's efforts to damage Gwyddoniae Dnias before she sets forth for Kongens By. The Consolidated States of Toile's Premier agrees to meet Tanial where she chooses; she selects Kongens By planning to later site her palace or castle or manse, there.
The Premier arrives with representatives of Free the Experiment, dedicated to moving rénmen currently residing in Jenan City in the Consolidated States of Toile out of their poverty to the land currently known as the Experiment, Territory Two. The conflict for Tanial is the necessity for killing all the residents of Lindebalgh, Vest, Lindebalgh, Aberystrad and Bwichblaenau. Preventing that is worth a duel to the death.
