A thousand years of guilt can break anyone. Stormharbour is safe. For now. PradCorp can no longer crush the rebellion with overwhelming force, so they turn to other weapons. More subtle weapons. And one truly terrible weapon. A weapon which first needs a test.  One which will also flush out another thorn in the Corporation's side. A weapon the Wanderer can't stop - but that won't stop Kaira and Tarkus from trying.
But not all threats come from weapons.  The journey will force Tarkus to confront the guilt he's carried for a thousand years, leaving him teetering on the edge of an abyss from which he may never return. And as everything threatens to fall apart, he will come face-to-face with someone he never expected to see again.
