During the time of the Native American Spirit Dance or Ghost Dance as it came to be known. The Indian massacre at wounded Knee brought about the end of a way of life and freedom. The people recognized their relationship to the world had been ripped from them.
They went within for an answer to that disintegration of trust and humanity. The brutality of the time has only continued to this present day where perhaps we may all soon take up our own Ghost Dance.
