In a time when humanity had become depraved and self serving and chaos erupted across the planet, a select few created a system of spheres to keep replicating humans until the perfect specimen could be found. After 18 years in her bio-sac, RU-469 is born into a new self sustaining, low orbiting bio-sphere to be assessed by her automated servant Mentor. The systems engineering main frame 'Origin', has taken more than a keen interest in this new Birthlings as she is the first in three centuries to be fertilised and grown artificially without the Neural Network processor which normally maintains the individuals psychological profile in a computer generated state. Normally, the Birthlings can be controlled and guided by the N3, but without it RU-469 can think for herself and a new type of chaos ensues in the bio-sphere, and as Mentor attempts to sate her curiosity with learning programmes and assessment protocols, her awakening desire of an unfulfilled sex life sends RU-469 into spirals of wanting as Mentor has to change his approach to dealing with these unknown parameters of this new kind of Star Virgin.
