Résumé

Vic is a young boy enjoying a seaside holiday when he discovers a shy little bird with blue feathers and white stripes. He names her **Anolba** and patiently earns her trust by feeding her cheese and honey sandwiches. Over time, a beautiful friendship grows between Vic and Anolba. She even sits on his shoulder and sleeps in his hair. At the end of the holiday, Vic brings Anolba home. She lives freely in his room, perching on bookshelves and sharing his snacks.
One day, however, Anolba disappears when someone leaves a window open. Vic is heartbroken, searching everywhere for her. Just as he's about to give up, Anolba returns! But later, she flies away with a new bird friend-and doesn't come back for many months. Finally, during the next beach holiday, Vic sees Anolba again-this time with her bird friend and **three baby parakeets**. Although she no longer lives with him, Vic feels joy knowing that his friend is happy and has a family of her own.
