Résumé
Das Markusevangelium hat eine eigene Verstehenskonzeption, die mit der Darstellung des Erzählten entfaltet wird. Dies ist die These, die Beck in seiner Arbeit stringent begründet. Da der Aufweis solch einer markinischen Hermeneutik freilich selbst Interpretation ist, klärt der erste Teil zuvorderst die Voraussetzungen und Grundlegungen einer Hermeneutik, die dem Markusevangelium als narrativem Text adäquat ist.
Unter Anwendung jener Hermeneutik zeigt der zweite Teil mittels detaillierter Exegese dann die im Markusevangelium selbst thematisierte Hermeneutik auf.
Angemessenes Verstehen Jesu und des von ihm verkündeten Reiches Gottes erweist sich hiernach als existentiell umfassendes Geschehen, das als Aneignung stets neu eine Enteignung bisheriger Selbst- und Identitätssicherungen impliziert. [Understanding as Appropriation. Hermeneutics in the Gospel of Mark] The Gospel of Mark has a distinct concept of understanding. It is developed through the representation of the narrated story.
This thesis Beck substantiates in his book compellingly. Because the demonstration of such a Markan hermeneutics is itself an interpretation, the first part clarifies the premises and foundations of a hermeneutics, which can be adequately applied to the Gospel of Mark as a narrative text. In usage of this hermeneutics, the second part shows - by means of a detailed exegesis - the hermeneutics, which the Gospel of Mark itself addresses.
Appropriate understanding of Jesus and the kingdom of God is accordingly an existentially comprehensive act which as appropriation in each case implies a dispossession of the previous assured concept of the own self and identity.
