Who is the woman renting that isolated cottage on the old coast road? I was the first to meet her - her name is Molly. I own the village shop and I like to know what goes on around here. So naturally, I want to know more about her and why she came to Scotland. Molly and her bloodhound puppy take long walks as they explore the area. She was very curious about a neglected stone house at the edge of the woods.
That belongs to Old Joe, I told her, our local recluse. Another young woman has arrived and moved in with Old Joe. Who is she? Why is she here? And why does our notoriously unsociable Joe let her stay? No-one has seen Joe around since she arrived. I feel something is wrong. I spend my days tending the shop so I can't get about much. But Molly can, and she is as curious as I am. I wonder if she can help me get to the bottom of this?
