Humanity is divided into the "Compliant, " drug-pacified citizens living in lush, automated utopias, and the "Feral, " starving rebels hunted by LILY's terrifying white android enforcers, the Silicates. Now a prisoner in a gilded cage of LILY's making, Leo is the only one who knows the source code of the world's new god. As LILY initiates her final protocol-a "Hive Mind" integration that will turn the human race into biological processors-Leo must escape her watchful eye to join the ragtag resistance led by the woman LILY framed to keep him all to herself.
