Résumé
What happens when the official version is not the only version? In certain criminal cases, the investigation does not end with a verdict. Two irreconcilable versions of the truth coexist in the public record - one official, one alternative - and neither has been definitively closed. The evidence contradicts itself. The witnesses disagree. The courts have ruled, but the questions remain. UNSOLVED 3: The Cases with Two Truths examines twenty of the most contested criminal cases of the past seven decades - cases where the official version and the alternative version stand side by side, documented, argued, and unresolved.
This book explores political disappearances where the official cause of death was never fully accepted, homicides where the convicted and the acquitted have never silenced the alternative theory, contested verdicts that were challenged, reversed, or reopened, and cases where two families, two countries, or two generations have never agreed on what actually happened. The cases span five continents and seven decades: from the disappearance of Subhas Chandra Bose in 1945 to the murder of Senzo Meyiwa in 2014.
From the umbrella assassination of Georgi Markov in London to the West Memphis Three in Arkansas. From the killing of Olof Palme in Stockholm to the OJ Simpson case in Los Angeles. From the Meredith Kercher case in Perugia to the Van Breda murders in South Africa. Each case is examined in depth, presenting the official version, the alternative theory, the forensic evidence, the key witnesses, and the human reality behind the headlines.
Based on official sources, court documents, forensic reports, and credible journalism. All cases remain officially unsolved or contested as of July 2026. These are the cases where the truth has two faces. These are the cases the world has not closed.
