Résumé
Victorian London, 1889. Jack the Ripper was only the beginning.A new killer, dubbed Junior R by the newspapers, is picking up where Jack left off and doing a more gruesome job of it. He leaves bodies behind as though it's nothing. After Eleonora Prime temporarily moves from Canterbury to Kennington, she finds herself living with a man who had made her miserable since their very first encounter: the irresistible architect, Felix Clifton.
Felix wants nothing to do with Eleonora, and he makes his disdain abundantly clear, but when you live together in the same house, avoiding each other becomes nearly impossible. Meanwhile, the murders in London escalate from bad to worse. It is strongly advised that women and children be kept off the streets. When Eleonora unknowingly crosses paths with Junior R, she has no inkling that, from that moment on, the bloodthirsty killer will fixate solely on her.
But while Eleonora has no knowledge of what dangers surround her, Junior R is in for a few surprises as well. His motives might be sinister and indiscernible, but Eleonora is not what he expects, and secrets have many faces.
