Résumé
For far too long, the animal world has suffered at the hands of humanity. From factory farming to deforestation, to exploitation for the sake of our entertainment, humans have wreaked havoc on the lives of the creatures who share our planet. It is time to uncage the animals. In Compassiviste's 7th anthology, artists and writers from around the globe share what uncaging the animals means to them. Through poetry, visual art, short stories and essays, our contributors reflect on our exploitation the animal world- and explore how we might learn to live in loving harmony with all the creatures who share our planet. A hundred percent of royalties from the sale of this anthology go to Atlanta Humane Society, supporting their work to create better lives for animals-and the humans who love them.
Contains work by: Rathin Bhattacharjee, Sunnye Collins, Brigitte Cutshall, Aneesah Davids, Anjonn Dasgupta, Cody Draco, Bixie Friedman, Barbara Anna Gaiardoni, Ali Horriyat, Fiona Jensen, Allan Lake, Henry Vinicio Valerio Madriz, Joan McNerny, Robbi Nester, Honey Novick, Ashley Rayne, Alanna Robertson-Webb, Adriana Rocha, Lesley Scoble, Matt Shore, Alysa Wakin, Lynn White, Allison Whittenberg and Isra Zaib.
