Twice Upon a Family Vacation

Britta Keath knows she'd better find a new employer before she's fired from the coffee shop for doing her job, and when she hears about an open position in the same building, thanks to a chance encounter, she transitions from barista to office manager in the blink of an eye. Her new colleagues, with the exception of Brody Eriksen, seem very nice, and she knows she'll just have to figure out how to deal with the grumpy man.
Brody Eriksen knows his needs are simple and few. Find a fixer-upper that needs its character restored, and spend his weekdays at a job he enjoys. When the office manager up and quits, leaving their property management company in a bad way, he heads for the coffee shop on his lunch break, finding Britta Keath, who appears pretty desperate to part ways with her current position. The solution seems pretty simple to him.
The outcome is anything but, and he has no clue how he's going to deal with what he's set in motion.
