Tuko's Cave - A Night Alone, Naked in a Cave, on Magic Mushrooms

The old mananambal gives Tuko magic mushrooms and tells him to spend a night alone in a dark cave. This is the beginning of a voyage that takes Tuko, an Austrian physics student, deep inside himself, to the profoundest meditations on reality, ancient understandings and cosmological visions, and deep inside the mysteries of darkness and inner caves, of silence and the eternally sacred. His spiritual path leads him through unresolved childhood memories and past cultural confinements, urges him to give up his fears and his prejudices, and throws challenges at him he had never expected.
He sees the origin and nature of the universe, dances with the dead, learns about sorcery and survives deadly dangers, while transforming his consciousness to escape the illusions of time and cultural perspectives. He travels into microcosmic reality including that of other species, and eventually finds out the answer to his oldest question - Who am I?
