Eva had never enjoyed Halloween, not even when she was a kid, and as an adult, she was too busy with work to bother with the holiday. Not that the children who knocked at her door were that considerate, ignoring her attempts at writing her next book and begging her for candy. When someone rang at her door, that was what she expected to find on the other side, some kids begging for her attention. Instead, she found two young adult women, though the costumes they were wearing were far too daring for normal Halloween ones: lingerie and a latex mask with bunny ears.
When they asked her to enter, saying there was someone after them, she allowed them in, only to regret it when a few minutes later the police came knocking at her door, searching for them. She didn't know why she lied and said she didn't see the girls, watched the police move away and went to confront her guests, only to find out they had been caught having sex in public, and ran before the police could catch them.
