These are not the only techniques that you can use to improve your critical thinking skills. They are a starting point. Explore the quality of your decision making as you use these techniques and experiment with finding the ones that you are most comfortable with.
Also experiment to find the ones that provoke the most thinking - perhaps even the most discomfort.
