Too late to remember

In late September in KwaZulu-Natal, five-year-old Nomusa meets her new neighbor Thandiswa at the green gate of 14 Protea Crescent. What starts as childhood friendship grows into something neither of them can name. Over twelve years, through school detentions, secret park meetings, and promises made under jacaranda trees, Nomusa and Thandiswa hold onto each other in a world that isn't ready for them.
But when tragedy strikes and Thandiswa wakes up with no memory of the girl who loved her since age five, Nomusa is left waiting for someone who doesn't remember her name. A story of first love, loss, and the question of whether love can survive even when memory doesn't.
