Résumé

Tre is good at many things, but love just isn't one of them. At 36, freshly divorced and emotionally numb, professor Trevor "Tre" Williams is content to hide behind his work and his apartment. But his best friend Ella isn't having it. After fifteen years of friendship, she drags him out for drinks, and that night changes everything. What starts as a friend's night out turns into something Tre never saw coming, feelings he can't ignore, and for the first time since his divorce, a reason to open his heart again.
But just as things fall into place, the past comes knocking. A surprise from a woman he barely knows threatens everything he's building with Ella. And the fallout not only threatens his relationship with Ella, but his career. Tre wants to do the right thing. The problem is he keeps getting it wrong. As the people he loves grow tired of waiting, Tre is forced to face not only what he wants, but whether he's willing to fight for it before it slips away for good. Because when you finally figure out what matters, waiting until tomorrow may be too late.
