Résumé

With sixth grade behind them, Tommy Weebler and his best friends, Raul Mendoza, Dory Drake and Wilbur Federson, have all been invited to the North Pole to celebrate Mary Christmas' 158th birthday party. Never mind that they have no idea how they're going to get there. One way or another, they are determined to make the journey. That's when Tommy gets caught in a blizzard at the bottom of his driveway, something that's never happened in Fillmore, and certainly not in June.
The cause of the furious snowstorm is a disgraced Sugar Plum Fairy named Big Bad Brad who warns Tommy to forget about attending Mary's party or face the consequences. Shortly after Tommy calls an emergency meeting of The Protectinators, the team Tommy and his friends created for their own protection, Tommy finds himself abducted to the North Pole and thrown in jail. That's the bad news. The good news is that Tommy's cell mate is Kyle, the talking interplanetary bounty hunter who happens to look like a Rottweiler.
Why are they behind bars? Both are suspected of helping Mary Christmas commit a terrible crime. Once they manage to secure their release, Tommy and Kyle face the difficult task of clearing Mary's good name and bringing the true criminals to justice. What follows is a raging battle that pits Kyle and The Protectinators against Big Bad Brad and his army of renegade elves. Somebody grab the oatmeal cookies.
Things are about to get very ugly.
