Roger M Daniel B. Ed (Hons.) was born in Romford, Essex shortly after World War II. His impulsive nature has resulted in a rich and fulfilling life. Personal experience as a publican, street market trader and teacher have proved invaluable in writing this novel. Before moving to Northumberland Roger lived and worked in the London Borough of Newham, the setting for this novel. He and his wife Gillian now live in Berwick upon Tweed.
