Résumé

Lucy Brooks is the proprietor of the local tea shop, Thyme for Tea. Her easy routine is disrupted when evacuee children from Bristol arrive during a mass evacuation as the English government scrambles to respond to the threat of German bombs. Happy to do her part in the war effort, she opens her shop to welcome the newcomers until they can be placed with various families.
