Hidden deep in the Ironspine Mountains and known only to the god Odin, this secret sanctuary trains elite assassins who serve as shadowy agents for kings and gods alike. Under the tutelage of diverse masters, including the Elven stealth expert Aldwin Nightbreeze and the human warrior Takeshi Steelheart. Baldur Thunderfist develops extraordinary martial skills, particularly mastering the devastating Lightning Strike punch and Earthshaker Strike technique that channel his inner energy into powerful shockwaves.
Meanwhile, the peaceful kingdom of Astoria falls to darkness when the ruthless Orc warlord Grimvar Bloodthorn orchestrates a violent coup, murdering the benevolent King Roderick and his heir, Prince Gareth, while systematically destroying the sacred order of the Golden Dawn. As Grimvar's tyrannical rule plunges the kingdom into oppression and despair, the gods themselves intervene with a divine summons delivered through a supernatural storm to the monastery.
Recognizing that his years of rigorous training have prepared him for this moment, Korgan accepts the sacred mission to descend from his mountain sanctuary and restore justice to Astoria by dismantling Grimvar's corrupt regime and avenging the desecration of the holy order.
