Think About These Things

This is my natural and supernatural response to the Bible. I say natural because I am a man who was born into sin, and that still affects me. I say supernatural because God allowed my spirit to be born again, and he has given me the privilege of studying the Scriptures since I was a little boy - for I was regenerated by God the Father when I was about 10 years old. The supernatural part of me honors the Lord Jesus, who gave us Holy Writ, and who proved to us that he is our Creator.
At the same time, I always have to keep my natural side obedient to the point of slavery. I did not choose to be born physically into this world, but I did choose to be born in the better world that has come from the heart of Messiah Yeshua, and that is why I wrote this book. And it is always important to remember that the Holy Ghost's book defines itself, and the Holy Ghost's book is the Bible. This book, on the other hand, written by me, is my partial and weak answer to Jesus' question in Luke 10.26, 'How do you read it?' But, by answering that question, I am not putting God to the test - but rather, my faith is being tested (James 1.2-3).
