"Fremdsprache" Religion, religiöse Sprache in der Krise, Sprachlosigkeit der Kirche und abnehmende religiöse Sprachfähigkeit in der Gesellschaft - diese Formulierungen aus der aktuellen Diskussion zeigen, dass die religiöse und sprachliche Heterogenität kommunikativer Kontexte für die theologische Wissenschaft und Didaktik zu den zentralen Herausforderungen der Gegenwart gehört. Dabei wird immer wieder auf die Metapher der "Übersetzung" zurückgegriffen, um die scheinbar notwendige Transformationsleistung zu beschreiben.
Der Band diskutiert die Frage nach der theologischen Sprachfähigkeit aus der Perspektive theologischer Ethik und Religionspädagogik. Theology in Translation? In these discussions the metaphor of "translation" is widely used to describe the necessary transformation of religious language. The volume discusses the question of theological language and its transformation from the perspective of theological ethics and religious education.
