In the hidden veins of Meridian City, ink remembers what the living forget. They say Maedra's tattoo studio only appears to the grieving. Those who enter leave marked-not just with symbols, but with something older, something alive. Her ink whispers, burns, and in rare cases... watches. When ex-con Jari Knox wakes with a mysterious eye tattoo etched into his arm, his world begins to crack. The eye sees things-future crimes, stolen memories, buried truths-and it's watching him more than he's watching it.
Desperate, he turns to Asha Calder, an ex-street shaman turned dream therapist, who believes the ink carries fragments of a long-dead god sleeping beneath the city. As visions spread and strangers bear the same cursed marks, the boundaries between body, spirit, and city begin to erode. And when street photographer Mara Chen captures a faceless figure in an abandoned district, she unknowingly uncovers the first clue to Meridian's oldest secret.
