Misguided by their peers that is, rather than the basic sense of right and wrong they should have learned from their parents. This is a story that can divide opinion, will you think the principle characters are just having some harmless fun or will you think that they are in fact..... just a little bit sick. A black romantic-comedy that describes the perils of being a 'Wake Crasher'.
The perpetrators embark on what they see as a bit of harmless fun, a way of getting a few free drinks and a bite to eat at a time when they are struggling to pay the bills in a world of austerity. It does not take too long. however, before they realise that there is no such thing as a free ride and that for every action there is a reaction, especially when they dabble in the darker side of life!Genuine relationships may have formed, but the principle characters get a little more than they expect from their endeavors.
The problem is that the starting point for these new relationships is from a position of deceit and dishonesty. How can that work in a modern world of instant communication, where everyone knows everyone and life is little like living in a goldfish bowl?A book that will not only appeal to young adults and teenagers but also those that like to cringe a little!
