Résumé
Huey faces almost impossible odds as the first Black Secretary of State. His president, Eugene Debs, is struggling in 1913 as the costs of oil are increasing. The new economy is hurting, crippling the new worker-owned coops. Add to that, the growing oil industry is loyal to the overseas corporate leaders who fled the US when Debs became president. Can Huey survive a new conflict as he hears about an assassination plot aimed at Archduke Franz Ferdinand? Especially when he discovers moles in the FBI and the White House?
